The MCC are designed for marine purposes and made in accordance with the requirements of the customers and classification societies. The MCC are built of 2 mm steel sheet profiles which are all welded to ensure a strong construction. The framework can also be made of modular sheet steel profiles screwed together and suitable for marine applications. The busbars consist of high conductivity tinned copper which is rated and clamped to withstand the dynamic forces and thermal effects of the prospective fault current of the system. All steel works are degreased, rust inhibitor/primer treated and painted in to the clients requirements.
